A daughter is born to Lord Torrhen Stark and Lady Raina née Reed – the first child of the King Who Knelt. All the North gathers to celebrate beneath pale winter skies.
King Aegon and his sisters fly to Winterfell to honor the newborn. The reception is courteous, but far from warm. Lady Velaryon rides at Aegon’s side on Balerion, casting a long shadow over the snow-covered yard.
Not long after their return south, rumors stir like embers in a draft: whispers that the King and his younger sister XY, once thought merely close have grown too close.

In the shadow of Rhaenys’ death, Queen Visenya sets into motion a plan she and her sister had woven long before tragedy struck. She arranges a betrothal between the eldest son of Lord Lannister and the newborn daughter of Lord Redwyne, an alliance of lion and grapevine meant to secure the Reach and Westerlands to the Crown.

Far in the North, winter breaks and with it comes another Stark. Lord Torrhen and Lady Raina welcome their first son, Brandon Stark, heir to Winterfell. The people of the North fill the halls with roaring fires and louder cheers.

Lord Martyn of House Hightower is born to Lord Manfred Hightower and Lady XX Hightower nee Redwyne, the first born son of Lord Hightower is greatly celebrated in Old Town, so much so that the High Septon performs a special ceremony for the newly born babe offering the Blessings of the Seven in person.

Lord XY of House Frey is born to Lord Frey and Lady Deana Frey nee Erenford.
The Stormlands
Lord Rogar of House Baratheon is born to Lord Davos Baratheon and Lady Elenda Baratheon Nee Connington. Rogar is the first Grandson of Lord Baratheon and his birth is much celebrated. The whole of the Royal family travels to Storm’s End to celebrate with House Baratheon, they remain for several weeks. There is some talk between King Aegon and his half brother Lord Baratheon about betrothing the infant Princess and the little Lordling.

Lady XX of House Redwyne is born to Lord XY Redwyne and Lady Elina Redwyne Nee Osgrey. A few weeks later the Lady Redwyne succumbs to some strange illness that had been plaguing her through the later months of her pregnancy. It is said that she was little more than skin and bones when she drew her last breath.

There must be something in the water! House Tarbeck welcomes twins. Lord XY and Lady Jocasta are born to Lord Alyn Tarbeck and Lady Jeyne Tarbeck Nee Westerling. Unfortunately it was not known that the Lady Tarbeck carried two babes and though she labored through the night as the little girl drew her first breath the Lady drew her last. It is said that the Lady gave her life to save her daughters.
