Cannibal
Hatched in 112 BC
The largest of the riderless dragons on Dragonstone, he cuts a gaunt and corpse like figure, his scales a deep, greasy black even darker than Balerion’s. Ragged wings tear at the edges like those of a feral bat, and sickly green eyes glow with an eerie light in the dark. Lean, hungry, and predatory in silhouette, he has hook shaped, jagged talons and teeth that are unnaturally long and needle sharp, built for rending, feeding, and little else.
Smallfolk whisper that he is the most vicious of his kind, untamable and unwilling to suffer the presence of man. Feral to the core, he rejects any who attempt to approach or bond with him. A natural hunter known to kill and eat other dragons, he keeps to himself and guards his territory with unmatched savagery though some swear they’ve glimpsed him coiling in uneasy company with a single pale she-dragon. Untouched, unclaimed, and utterly savage, he is feared as the darkest of Dragonstone’s beasts.

Vaedaros “Smoke-Wing”
Hatched in 29 AC
A medium sized young dragon with scales mottled in dark gray and charcoal black, giving him the appearance of embers smothered in ash. Long, wiry, and built for speed rather than brute strength, his sleek body moves with a coiled, restless energy. Disproportionately large wings stretch wide, their pale, misty gray membranes catching the wind, while a row of small, blade like spines runs along his back, sharpening near the tail into a serrated ridge that rattles with every movement. His fire burns a smoky, dull orange, pouring in thick, choking clouds rather than sharp bursts, and his piercing blue eyes miss nothing.
Notoriously skittish and standoffish, he avoids even other dragons, preferring isolated cliffs and wind lashed perches from which he surveys all below. Startlingly fast when provoked, he relies on evasive movement over aggression, tolerating human proximity only at a careful distance. Wary rather than malicious, he embodies caution and survival instinct in every sinew.

Goldwing
Hatched 29 AC
A strikingly handsome young dragon, notably larger than his clutchmate Vaedaros, already heavy boned, hinting at even greater size in adulthood. His warm honey gold scales are streaked with lighter, almost cream colored lines that form a feathery pattern across his chest and wings, while the membranes of his wings glow a bright, sunlit yellow, radiating brilliance in flight. Short, elegantly curved horns crown his head, and his deep amber eyes flicker like molten metal. His flames burn vivid and bright, hotter and cleaner than most dragons his age.
Proud and confident, he carries himself with ease even among larger dragons. He is bold and inquisitive yet surprisingly gentle. He shows remarkable tolerance for humans, often observing Dragonstone’s training fields with keen interest, and while not tame, he harbors none of the suspicion or hostility common to riderless dragons. Sociable and even tempered, he rarely initiates conflict, though it is said he will defend a favorite sunning spot with controlled displays rather than violence.

Sheepstealer
Hatched 35 AC
Small and wiry compared to other dragons, he has a lean, almost gangly frame. His mottled gray and brown scales provide excellent natural camouflage among the rocky cliffs and grassy slopes of Dragonstone. Disproportionately large wings stretch wide, the membranes are thin and fade to translucence, A long, narrow snout lined with tiny, sharp teeth and bright amber eyes give him a clever, alert expression, while his whip like, almost prehensile tail, can knock over objects during play. His fire is weak and uneven, producing more smoke than flame, reflecting his youthful inexperience.
Mischievous and energetic, he constantly explores and tests his limits, with a particular fondness for stealthily snatching small animals when no one is watching.
