Aegon Targaryen establishes the realm of the Seven Kingdoms and begins his rule over Westeros following a two-year war of conquest. However, his rise to power is not without some resistance.
Soon after his coronation in Oldtown, the Three Sisters declare independence from House Arryn in defiance against Lord and Crown, they name Lady Marla Sunderland as their Queen. This rebellion, eventually known as the Sistermen’s Rebellion, is swiftly crushed by Queen Visenya, who brings it to an end with the might of her dragon, Vhagar, and the support of a Northern naval host commanded by Ser Warrick Manderly.
Queen Marla is deposed by her own people and her younger brother Steffon bends the knee renewing their fealty to House Arryn and thereby the Crown. Queen Marla is exiled and imprisoned.

Lord Vickon Greyjoy is chosen as Lord of the Iron Islands by the Ironborn after King Aegon invades the Iron Islands to end the civil war that the death of Harren Hoare caused amongst the Ironborn.

XY Tully is born to the new Lord of the Riverlands. The Riverlands gather to celebrate the birth. King Aegon and his wives attend on their dragons. They are hosted for a little over two weeks by House Tully. Lasting friendships are formed.

The first Dornish War begins; the King arriving through the Prince's Pass, Lord Orys Baratheon through the Boneway and Queen Rhaenys attacking Planky Town from the sky, were able to capture a few castles. The King acquired the weapon Sunspear and declared the conquest was over. Unfortunately, the Lord Baratheon was captured by Wyl of Wyl.

The King returns to King’s Landing; in doing so, Dorne reclaims their castles and kills those that remain from the armies. Lives lost included: Jon Rosby and garrisons of knights. Presumed dead is Harlan Tyrell who along with his host of knights simply disappears in the sands of Dorne on his march to Sunspear
The office of Grand Maester is created after the King’s request for council from the Citadel.

After two years of captivity, House Targaryen pays the ransom demanded by Dorne. Lord Baratheon and the other captives are released. Each of the captives are returned without their sword hands so that they may never pick up arms again.

With the death of Meraxes and the presumed death of Queen Rhaenys, a time of revenge ensues known as the Dragon’s Wroth. Every castle, Keep and Holdfast in Dorne is set ablaze at least once. Only Sunspear is spared and large bounties are placed on the heads of all Dornish Lords.
As a result Dorne retaliates offering a bounty for the head of King Aegon and all of his allies. This results in three attempts on King Aegon’s life and Queen Visenya was attacked on numerous occasions. It was only after the pair were together assaulted on the street that King Aegon agreed to the creation of the elite royal bodyguard called the Kingsguard.
Lord Fell is killed in a brothel in King’s Landing.
Lord Vaith is killed.
Numerous atrocities are committed by Wyl of Wyl.
XY Greyjoy is born.

The birth of King Aegon’s second son, Daerion, brings joy to King’s Landing after so much grief.
Far to the south in Dorne, the land suffers under famine and blight. Wyl of Wyl attacks the wedding of Ser Jon Cafferen and Lady Alys Oakheart. The groom is castrated while the bride and all of her handmaids are raped by Wyl of Wyl and all of his men. They are later sold into slavery. Lord Oakheart, father of Lady Alys is murdered along with most of the guests.
Late in the year House Oakheart with the help of House Redwyne locates the Lady Alys and her handmaidens. With a hefty cost that the Crown pays most of, the women are purchased from those who claimed them.
XX Tully of House Tully is born.
A mild winter begins...

Princess Meria Martell of Dorne passes away, and her son and successor, Nymor Martell, dispatches his daughter Deria to King's Landing bearing a sealed letter for King Aegon and Meraxes skull. Though the letter’s contents remain a mystery, whatever was written within persuaded the King to sign a peace treaty. Thus, after nine years of bitter conflict, the First Dornish War came to an end.
A bastard son is born to Lady Alys. She claims that the boys father is her castrated husband but most believe this cannot be so as their wedding was never consummated. Sadly the truth cannot be known as Ser Jon succumbed to his wounds not long after.

XX of House Stark is born, the first grandchild of Lord Torrhen Stark. The North gathers in celebration of the little girls birth. King Aegon and his sisters travel to Winterfell to attend the celebration. Their reception is hospitable but not considered warm. The Lady of Dragonstone rode with the King on Balerion
Soon after rumors begin that the King and his youngest sister have begun a rather torrid affair.

A plan that she and her sister wife had come up with before Rhaenys’ death is put into action. The Queen arranges a marriage between the eldest son of Lord Lannister and the newly born daughter of Lord Redwyne. The betrothal is accepted by both parties and it is agreed that when the young Lady is a woman grown the pair will marry.

Princess XX of House Targaryen is born. Much time has passed since the King welcomed another child into the world and the realm gathers to rejoice in the birth of the Princess.
Lord XY of House Massey is born.
XY of House Stark is born, the first grandson of Lord Torrhen Stark. Once again the North gathers though now it is not only the birth of a boy child but also the breaking of winter.

A pirate attack on far off Tall Trees Town, comes to the attention of King Aegon. He orders walls to be built around King’s Landing.
With King Aegons blessing Daemon of House Velaryon is taken to Dragonstone by his mother. While there he bonds with (Dragon). He is the first of House Velaryon to have bonded with a dragon.
House Velaryon is blessed by three births. The Lady of Driftmark gives birth to her daughter Lady Jaenessa. There are rumors that she is truly Aegons bastard however the Lord of Driftmark claims her as his own daughter.
Lady Myranda gives birth to her twins Lord Corwyn and Lady Larissa.
Prentys of House Tully is born, the first grandson of Lord Edmyn Tully.
XY of House Stark is born, the second granddaughter to Lord Torrhen Stark is born.

To mark the tenth anniversary of peace between Dorne and the Iron Throne, King Aegon I Targaryen and his son, Prince Aenys, journey to Sunspear for a grand feast, arriving on their dragons, Balerion and Quicksilver.
Princess Rhaena Targaryen is born to Prince Aenys and Lady Alyssa.
A grand feast and tourney are held in honor of the Little Princess and first grandchild to King Aegon and his late sister wife Queen Rhaenys.
Queen Visenya Targaryen puts forward a proposal for a marriage between her son, Prince Daerion, and his newly born niece, Princess Rhaena to be fulfilled when the little Princess is a woman grown.
The High Septon does not approve of this this proposal and so offers instead his own niece for the young Prince, Lady Ceryse of House Hightower though she is ten years his senior.

King’s Landing continues to grow rapidly, surpassing both White Harbor and Gulltown to become the third largest city in the realm. Only Oldtown and Lannisport are larger.
The young Prince Daerion Targaryen distinguishes himself in a melee at just three and ten years old, besting seasoned knights and earning great acclaim. In recognition of his prowess, Queen Visenya Targaryen gifts him the Valyrian Steel sword Dark Sister.
Not long after the young Prince turns three and ten the pressure from the High Septon to see the betrothal of his niece and the Prince honored, Prince Daerion is wed to the Lady Ceryse of House Hightower in a grand ceremony held at the Starry Sept in Oldtown. The Lady of House Velaryon and her children attend his wedding. Queen Visenya and her sister are seen whispering in the background, neither appear pleased. Some say it is the youth of the Prince that is the issue, others that it is the lack of Valyrian blood in the Hightower girl that causes such dour faces
That following year, the walls around King’s Landing were completed.

Prince Aegon is born to Prince Aenys and Lady Alyssa. A grand feast and tourney are held to mark the birth of Prince Aenys’ presumed heir.

Wyl of Wyl is killed by the bastard son of Alys Oakheart. The boy accomplishes such revenge at the age of six and ten.

Prince Daerion once again earns great acclaim when he not only won the melee but also unseated three Kingsguard in succession during a tourney. His valor and skill are rewarded when he is knighted at the age of only six and ten, making him the youngest knight in the realm at the time.
The Lady of House Velaryon and her children attend this tourney, she and her sister are once again seen in close conversation.
Over the next two years, Prince Daerion leads an expedition to the Stepstones, joined by Ser Osmund Strong and Aethan Velaryon, to root out the Lysene pirate King, Sargoso Saan, who had established his dominion over the islands.

Prince Viserys is born to Prince Aenys and Lady Alyssa. A grand feast and tourney are held in honor of his birth.
Lord Daemion of House Velaryon, with his Uncles permission, brings his twins to Dragonstone so that they may attempt to bond with a dragon. Tragedy very nearly strikes when the pair of hatchlings the twins seem keen on turn on them prompting Vhagar herself to defend the hatchlings from the screaming children. It is only the swift intervention of Visenya and Daerion that spares all three Velaryon lives.

At the age of eight and ten, Prince Daerion defeat and kills the Giant of the Trident.
King Aegon orders the Aegonfort to be torn down, and the construction of the Red Keep begins.

Lord XY of House Massey is made the squire of Lord Alyn Stokeworth
XY of House Lannister and XX of House Redwyne are married. It is a grand affair that the whole of the Royal family attends. The Queen and XX Lannister nee Redwyne are often seen speaking while the Royal family is hosted by House Lannister of Casterly Rock.
Quenton Qoherys and Lady XX of House Tully are married. It is a modest affair held in Harrenhall. The Royal family attends and it is said that Balerion coiled himself around one of the melted towers to slumber while the feasting was going on in the courtyard leading many to grow nervous that such a large beast was so near to them.

With the birth of Prince Jaehaerys Targaryen many Houses of the Seven Kingdoms attended not only the anticipated birth but also the weeks of feasting, grand parties and Tourney that such Royal announcements heralded.
It is learned by all that the Lady Ceryse, Prince Daerions wife is expecting their first child after nine years of marriage.
There is some surprise that a young Lord of House Crane breaks two lances against Prince Daerion. Unsurprising that in the end it is the Prince who wins the day.
Scandal comes when it is the Lady Jaenessa of House Velaryon that the Prince crowns as the Queen of Love and Beauty rather than his own very pregnant wife. Some even whisper that that evening during the feast they saw the pair of Valyrian blooded nobles playing a game of chase through the Red Keep. Many discount this rumor as Prince Daerion is not known for his frivolity.

Lady Ceryse, wife of Prince Daerion dies in the childbed. Their son called Prince Leyton Targaryen died with his mother. Lady Ceryse was honored along with her son in the Sept of Remembrance. Her body was returned to Old Town so that she might be entombed with her kin. Prince Leyton was placed on a funeral pyre on Draqgonstone with his grandmothers dragon, Vhagar, offering her flames. His ashes are entombed on Dragonstone with his ancestors.
Rumors begin that the little Prince Leyton did not in fact die with his mother but instead a few days later when the dragon egg placed in his crib hatched and the hatchling savaged the child rather than bonding with him. These rumors are never addressed by Dragonstone nor the King.
House Targaryen learns that many of the missives sent to them were intercepted.

Princess Alysanne is born to Prince Aenys and Lady Alyssa. The Realm gathers once more to celebrate the birth.
House Velaryon faces challenges as their merchant vessels suffer an abnormal amount of pirate attacks. Some vessels are never accounted for.
The Maester on Dragonstone is replaced
Prince Daerion and the Lady Jaenessa of House Velaryon are wed by the High Septon in the Sept of Remembrance.
Offense is given to House Velaryon when the High Septon demands that before he will marry the pair the Lady be checked for her purity. The Grand Maester performs the duty himself and verifies that the young woman is a maiden true. Despite this the High Septon further demands the bedding be witnessed offering further insult to House Velaryon. It is agreed that the High Septon and Aegon himself will bare witness.
During the couples wedding feast there is very nearly a brawl when men at the feast come forward to escort the Lady Jaenessa to the bridal bed and are denied by the Prince. Stating that he will have the hands of any man that dare touch his bride. He is reminded that he did not have such qualms with his first wife.
House Hightower offers a significant gift to the Crown in the form of five caravels and five thousand gold dragons.
The Faith of the Seven sends a significant gift to the Crown in the name of charitable alms for the small folk of King’s Landing.

King Aegon Targaryen dies from a stroke.
Shortly after his father’s death, Daerion bonded with the dragon Balerion.
Aenys is crowned on Dragonstone by Grand Maester Gawen.
In preparation for his brother's inevitable crowning in King’s Landing, Prince Daerion ensures that more masons are hired to complete the Red Keep before Aenys’ coronation there.
Preparations are made for King Aenys, First of his name, and his immediate family to travel to Oldtown so that he might receive the blessing of the Faith of the Seven. King Aenys, Queen Alyssa, Prince Daerion, Dowager Queen Visenya, Princess Rhaena, Prince Aegon, Prince Viserys, Prince Jaehaerys and Princess Alysanne begin the trek to Oldtown. Their travel takes them through Riverrun where they are briefly hosted by House Tully. Dowager Queen Visenya invites the Lord Tully and his family to travel with the royal progress so that they might join them in King’s Landing for the public coronation of King Aenys. Lord Tully and his bannermen travel with the royal family. Next they are taken to Casterly Rock and are briefly hosted by House Lannister. Dowager Queen Visenya, seeking to heal some of the strife between House Lannister and the Crown, invites them to join the Royal Progress as well. The wife of the heir convinces him that they should join them. House Lannister of Casterly Rock and their banners join the Royal Progress.
In Highgarden they are hosted by House Tyrell and without much in the way of persuading the Lord Paramount of the Reach agrees to join the royal household on their progress to Oldtown. Their banners join them along the way.
In Oldtown King Aenys, First of his name, is crowned King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First Men. Lord of the Seven Kingdoms. Protector of the Realm. by the High Septon.
On their way back to King’s Landing a significantly larger party travels next to Storm's End where they are hosted by the Lord Baratheon who, much like the Lord Tyrell, requires no sweet talking from the Dowager Queen Visenya to join them on their way back to King’s Landing. Their banners join them in the royal progress. A quick friendship is struck between House Velaryon and House Tarth and an arrangement of betrothal is sought by the Lord Tarth. The eldest granddaughter of the Lord of Tides is offered and accepted.
Following the death of the King, rumors of rebellion begin to spread throughout the realm, chief among them an uprising led by an outlaw who calls himself Harren, claiming he is the grandson of Harren Hoare. To confront this threat, the late King’s Hand, Alyn Stokeworth, is dispatched to bring Harren the Red to justice. Though Lord Stokeworth is slain in the pursuit, the rebellion comes to an end when Harren is killed by XY Massey, Alyn’s squire.
XY Massey is Knighted for his valor.
This rebellion saw the extinction of House Qoherys.
Lord Paramount, Edmyn Tully, grants Harrenhal to House Harroway.
Prince Daerion is named Hand of the King.
